स च दुंदुभिनिर्ह्राद दैत्येंद्रो बलदर्पितः । व्याघ्र रूपं समास्थाय तमादातुं मतिं दधे
sa ca duṃdubhinirhrāda daityeṃdro baladarpitaḥ | vyāghra rūpaṃ samāsthāya tamādātuṃ matiṃ dadhe
અને તે દુંદુભિનિર્હ્રાદ નામનો દૈત્યેન્દ્ર, બળના દર્પથી મત્ત થઈ, વ્યાઘ્રરૂપ ધારણ કરીને તેને પકડી લેવા મનમાં નક્કી કર્યું.
