ulkāpāte ca bhūkaṃpe digdāhe madhyarātriṣu | saṃdhyayorvṛṣalopāṃte rājñorāhośca sūtake

ઉલ્કાપાત, ભૂકંપ, દિશાઓમાં દાહ (અગ્નિપ્રકોપ), મધ્યરાત્રિ, બન્ને સંધ્યાકાળ, ઉપદ્રવ શાંત થયા પછી, તેમજ રાજમૃત્યુજન્ય અથવા રાહુજન્ય સૂતકમાં—આ પણ અનધ્યાય/નિયમવિરામના સમય ગણાય છે.
