te yācyamānā deveśa tiṣṭhantu smaraṇe mama | duhiteyaṃ viśālākṣī sarvaḥ sarvaṃ vijānate
Brahmā (Parameṣṭhin) addressing Śiva (Deveśa)
Scene: A prayerful figure asks Devēśa that the Vedas, though implored, remain in his remembrance; beside him stands a wide-eyed daughter figure (Viśālākṣī), symbolizing insight/omniscience, while the deity’s all-knowing gaze encompasses all.
Remembrance (smaraṇa) of the divine and sacred beings is presented as efficacious, while affirming the Lord’s omniscience.
The Revā/Narmadā sacred sphere is implied through the epithet of the 'daughter' (viśālākṣī), central to Revā Khaṇḍa’s river-mahātmya.
No explicit rite is prescribed here; the emphasis is on smaraṇa (devotional remembrance).
