युधिष्ठिर उवाच । कथमुदीर्णरूपोऽभूद्वाराहो धरणीधरः । वाराहत्वं गतः केन पञ्चमः केन संज्ञितः
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | kathamudīrṇarūpo'bhūdvārāho dharaṇīdharaḥ | vārāhatvaṃ gataḥ kena pañcamaḥ kena saṃjñitaḥ
યુધિષ્ઠિર બોલ્યા: “ધરણીને ધારણ કરનાર વરાહ તે મહારૂપે કેવી રીતે પ્રગટ થયો? કોના કારણે તેણે વરાહત્વ ધારણ કર્યું, અને તેને ‘પંચમ’ કેમ કહેવાયો?”
