તેને જોઈને તે મહાવીર પુરુષો—કન્યાઓના અંતઃપુરના રક્ષકો—બલિપુત્ર બાણને સર્વ વાત કહી સંભળાવી।
Sūta Gosvāmi (narrating to the sages at Naimiṣāraṇya)
Tattva Level: pashu
It shows how worldly power structures react through fear and surveillance, while the broader Yuddhakhaṇḍa narrative ultimately points to Shaiva Siddhānta’s theme: ego-born might is unstable, and true refuge is in Pati (Śiva), not in fortified inner chambers or heroic guards.
Though the verse is narrative, it supports the larger arc where protection and victory are not merely strategic but depend on alignment with Saguna Śiva’s will; worship of the Liṅga symbolizes turning from external defenses to the inner Lord who governs outcomes.
As a takeaway, cultivate inner vigilance rather than outer suspicion: daily japa of the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” with calm breath-awareness, and (where traditional) wearing Rudrākṣa and applying Tripuṇḍra to remember Śiva as the true protector.
