शिवदूतेन युद्धनिश्चयः तथा देवदानवयुद्धारम्भः (Śiva’s Envoy and the Commencement of the Deva–Dānava War)
शिरांसि चिच्छिदुश्चैभिर्वीरास्तत्र महो त्सवाः । वीराणामुभयोश्चैव सैन्ययोर्गर्जतो रणे
śirāṃsi cicchiduścaibhirvīrāstatra maho tsavāḥ | vīrāṇāmubhayoścaiva sainyayorgarjato raṇe
તે રણમાં વીર યોદ્ધાઓ મહોત્સવ સમા ઉત્સાહથી પોતાના શસ્ત્રોથી શિરચ્છેદ કરતા રહ્યા. બંને પક્ષોની વીર સેનાઓ યુદ્ધમાં ઘોર ગર્જના કરતી રહી.
