It highlights bhakti as a sanctifying force: even great beings like the mountain-kings are drawn by loving devotion toward Shiva’s divine manifestation (Kumāra), seeking darśana that awakens grace and right orientation to Pati (the Lord).
Kumāra is approached as a saguna expression within Shiva’s sacred family and divine play; seeking his presence parallels seeking Shiva’s accessible, worshipful forms—where devotion ripens through darśana and reverent approach.
The verse implies devotional approach (upāsanā) through darśana-seeking: one may practice japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with a bhakti-filled mind and then proceed for temple darśana of Shiva and his divine family.
