चित्रं देवानामुदगादनीकं चक्षुर्मित्रस्य वरुणस्याग्नेः आप्रा द्यावापृथिवी अन्तरिक्षं सूर्य आत्मा जगतस्तस्थुषश्च

દેવતાઓનું ચિત્રમય, તેજસ્વી મુખમંડળ ઉદય પામ્યું છે—મિત્ર, વરુણ અને અગ્નિનું નેત્ર. હે સૂર્ય! તું દ્યૌ અને પૃથ્વી તથા અંતરિક્ષને વ્યાપી ભર્યું છે; તું જ ગતિમાન અને સ્થિર સર્વ જગતનો આત્મા છે.
