स पुनानो मदिन्तमः सोमश्चमूषु सीदति । पशौ न रेत आदधत्पतिर्वचस्यते धियः ॥
Transliteration
sá punānó madíntamaḥ sómaś camū́ṣu sīdati | paśáu na réta ā́-dadhat pátir vacasyate dhíyaḥ ||
Translation
તે સોમ, શુદ્ધ થતો અને આનંદમાં અતિ મદિર, ચમૂઓ (પાત્રો)માં બેસે છે. પશુમાં બીજ સ્થાપિત થાય તેમ, તે અંદર સ્થાપિત થાય છે; વાણીનો અધિપતિ બની, વિચારોને ઉચ્ચાર માટે ફળદાયી કરે છે.
