Sukta 9.96
त्वया हि नः पितरः सोम पूर्वे कर्माणि चक्रुः पवमान धीराः । वन्वन्नवातः परिधीँरपोर्णु वीरेभिरश्वैर्मघवा भवा नः ॥
tváyā hí naḥ pitáraḥ soma pū́rve kármāṇi cakrúḥ pavamāna dhī́rāḥ | vánvann ávātāḥ paridhī́m̐r apórṇu vī́rebhir áśvair maghávā bhava naḥ ||
હે પવમાન સોમ! તારા દ્વારા જ અમારા પૂર્વ પિતૃઓ—ધીરા (જ્ઞાની)—કર્માણિ (કર્મો) સિદ્ધ કર્યા. હે અવન્વન્ (અજેય/અપ્રતિહત) વીર! અમાથી પરિધીં (ઘેરાવા/બંધનો) દૂર કર. વીરોયે અને અશ્વોયે સાથે, હે મઘવાન્ (ઉદાર દાતા), અમારો બન—વિસ્તાર (મઘ) આપનાર થા.
