Sukta 9.91
एवा पुनानो अपः स्वर्गा अस्मभ्यं तोका तनयानि भूरि । शं नः क्षेत्रमुरु ज्योतींषि सोम ज्योङ्नः सूर्यं दृशये रिरीहि ॥
evā́ punānó apáḥ svàr gā́ asmábhyaṃ tokā́ tanayā́ni bhū́ri | śáṃ naḥ kṣétram urú jyótīṃṣi soma jyók naḥ sū́ryaṃ dṛśáye rirīhi ||
એ રીતે, હે સોમ, શુદ્ધ થયેલો, અમારે માટે અપઃ—જળો—લાવી દે; સ્વર્ગલોકની તેજસ્વી ગાયો, અને અમારા અસ્તિત્વની બહુવિધ સંતતિ—સંતાન અને વંશપરંપરા—પ્રદાન કર. અમારું ક્ષેત્ર શાંતિમાં વિશાળ કર; અમારે માટે જ્યોતિઓ વિસ્તૃત કર. દીર્ઘકાલ સુધી અમારે આગળ સૂર્યને દર્શનીય રૂપે સ્થાપિત કર—સત્ય-જ્યોતિનું સ્થિર દર્શન અમને પ્રાપ્ત કરાવ.
