Sukta 9.74
आत्मन्वन्नभो दुह्यते घृतं पय ऋतस्य नाभिरमृतं वि जायते । समीचीनाः सुदानवः प्रीणन्ति तं नरो हितमव मेहन्ति पेरवः ॥
ātmanván nabhó duhyate ghṛtáṃ páya ṛtásya nā́bhir amṛ́taṃ ví jāyate | samīcīnā́ḥ sudā́navaḥ prīṇanti táṃ náro hitám áva mehanti péravaḥ ||
આત્મન્વત્ નભઃ—સ્વાધીન આકાશ—માંથી ઘૃત અને પયઃ દોહાય છે; ઋતની નાભિમાંથી અમૃત જન્મે છે અને વ્યાપે છે. સમીચીનાઃ—યોગ્ય સમન્વયમાં ચાલનારા—સુદાનવઃ તેને પ્રીણાવે છે; નરોઃ તેને હિત—અંતરમાં સ્થાપિત—કરી, પેરવઃ પોષક વૃષ્ટિ સમે તેને નીચે વરસાવે છે.
