आ पवस्व हिरण्यवदश्वावत्सोम वीरवत् । वाजं गोमन्तमा भर ॥
Transliteration
ā́ pavasva híraṇyavad áśvāvatsoma vī́ravat | vā́jaṃ gómantam ā́ bhara ||
Translation
હે સોમ, અમારી તરફ પવિત્ર થઈ વહે; હિરણ્યવત્ (સુવર્ણ-પ્રભાયુક્ત), અશ્વાવત્ (અશ્વસમાન વેગવાળો), વીરવત્ (વીરશક્તિથી યુક્ત) બની. ગોમંત વાજ (વિજય-બળ/પોષક શક્તિ), પ્રકાશમય કિરણોથી સમૃદ્ધ, અમારે માટે લાવી દે.
