त्वं धियं मनोयुजं सृजा वृष्टिं न तन्यतुः । त्वं वसूनि पार्थिवा दिव्या च सोम पुष्यसि ॥

tváṃ dhíyaṃ manoyújaṃ sṛjá vṛ́ṣṭiṃ na tanyatúḥ | tváṃ vasū́ni pārthívā divyā́ ca soma puṣyasi ||

હે સોમ! તું મન સાથે જોડાયેલી (મનોયુજ) ધી/વિચારશક્તિને મુક્ત કરે છે, જેમ ગર્જના (તન્યતુ) વરસાદને છોડે છે; અને તું પૃથ્વીના તથા દિવ્ય—બંને પ્રકારના વસુઓ/ધનોને પોષે છે.
