आ नो गोमन्तमश्विना सुवीरं सुरथं रयिम् । वोळ्हमश्वावतीरिषः ॥

Transliteration

ā́ no gómantam aśvinā suvíraṃ suráthaṃ rayím | vóḷham aśvā́vatīr íṣaḥ ||

Translation

હે અશ્વિનો, અમારે પાસે ગોમંત—ગાયો/કિરણોથી સમૃદ્ધ, અશ્વસમ્પન્ન, સુવીર—વીરશક્તિથી ભરપૂર, અને સુરથ—સુગતિશીલ રથવાળો રયિ લાવો; અશ્વશક્તિઓથી વહેંચાતો, અમારી ઇષા (પ્રેરણા) દ્વારા વહન થતો તે રયિ અમારે અર્પો.
