ā́ tvā hotā́ mánurhito devatrā́ vakṣad ī́ḍyaḥ | divó amúṣya śā́sato dívaṃ yáya divāvaso ||

હે ઈડ્ય (પૂજનીય) ઇન્દ્ર, માનવમાં સ્થાપિત હોતૃ (યજ્ઞપુરોહિત) તને અહીં દેવત્વ તરફ વહન કરશે. તે દ્યૌલોકની આજ્ઞાકારી વ્યવસ્થાથી, પ્રકાશમય દ્યૌ તરફ ગતિ કર—હે દિવાવસુ—અને અમારી ઉન્નતિ કરાવતી શક્તિરૂપે પ્રગટ થા.
