वि नो देवासो अद्रुहोऽच्छिद्रं शर्म यच्छत । न यद्दूराद्वसवो नू चिदन्तितो वरूथमादधर्षति ॥
Transliteration
ví no devāso adrúho ’cchidráṃ śárma yacchata | ná yád dūrā́d vasavo nū́ cíd ántito varū́tham ā-dadharṣati ||
Translation
હે દેવો, અદ્રુહ (અવિશ્વાસઘાતી નહિ) એવા, અમારા માટે અછિદ્ર શર્મ—અખંડ શાંતિ અને આશ્રય—વિસ્તારો. કારણ કે તમે સ્થાપિત કરેલું રક્ષણ-વૃત્ત (વરૂથમ) કોઈ આક્રમણથી—ન દૂરથી, ન તો હવે નજીકથી પણ—પરાજિત થતું નથી.
