वयं तद्वः सम्राज आ वृणीमहे पुत्रो न बहुपाय्यम् । अश्याम तदादित्या जुह्वतो हविर्येन वस्योऽनशामहै ॥
Transliteration
vayáṃ tád vaḥ samrā́ja ā́ vṛṇīmahe putró ná bahu-pā́yyam | aśyā́ma tád ādityā́ júhvato havír yéna vásyo ’náśāmahai ||
Translation
હે સમ્રાટ્ શક્તિઓ, અમે તમામાંથી તે જ પસંદ કરીએ છીએ—જેમ પુત્ર બહુ-રક્ષક સહાય પસંદ કરે. હે આદિત્યો, અમે જુહ્વાથી હવિ અર્પણ કરતાં તે પ્રાપ્ત કરીએ; જેના દ્વારા અમે વધુ ઉત્તમ અને વધુ તેજસ્વી કલ્યાણમાં ભાગીદાર બનીએ.
