स्तुहि स्तुहीदेते घा ते मंहिष्ठासो मघोनाम् । निन्दिताश्वः प्रपथी परमज्या मघस्य मेध्यातिथे ॥

stuhí stuhī́d eté ghā te maṃhíṣṭhāso maghónām | ninditā́śvaḥ prapathī́ paramajyā́ maghásya medhyātithe ||

સ્તુતિ કર, હા—સ્તુતિ કર; આ તો દાતાઓમાં મહાદાતા એવા તારા અતિ-ઉદાર બળો છે. હે મેધ્યાતિથિ! માર્ગ પર આગળ વધ; નિંદિત ‘અશ્વો’ પણ, જ્યારે દાનશક્તિનું તેજ અમામાં યોગ્ય રીતે પ્રજ્વલિત થાય, ત્યારે પરમ જોડાણો બની ઊઠે છે.
