Sukta 8.1
आ त्वद्य सधस्तुतिं वावातुः सख्युरा गहि । उपस्तुतिर्मघोनां प्र त्वावत्वधा ते वश्मि सुष्टुतिम् ॥
ā́ tvā́dya sadha-stutíṃ vāvātúḥ sakhyúr ā́ gahi | úpa-stutir maghónāṃ prá tvāvatú ádha te vaśmi su-stutím ||
આજે અમારી સ્થિર સધસ્તુતિ (સતત સ્તુતિ) તરફ આવો, હે ઝડપી! મિત્રરૂપે અહીં આવો. મઘોનાં (દાનવંતો)ની ઉપસ્તુતિ તને આગળ દોરી જાય; ત્યાર પછી હું તારા માટે સુષ્ટુતિ (સુઘડ સ્તુતિ-ગીત) રચું—યોગ્ય ઉચ્ચારથી તારો બળ અમામાં સ્થાપિત કરું.
