मा भूम निष्ट्या इवेन्द्र त्वदरणा इव । वनानि न प्रजहितान्यद्रिवो दुरोषासो अमन्महि ॥
Transliteration
mā́ bhūma niṣṭyā́ ivéndra tvád araṇā́ iva | vánāni ná pra-jahitā́ny adrivo duroṣā́so amanmahi ||
Translation
હે ઇન્દ્ર, અમે નિષ્કાસિત થયેલાં જેવા ન બનીએ; તારા પાસેથી વિખૂટા પડેલા ખોવાયેલા જેવા પણ નહીં. ત્યજાયેલા વનો જેવા ન થાઈએ. હે અદ્રિવો (પથ્થર-બળના ધારક), અમે પોતાને તારા આશ્રયના શોધક માન્યા છે; માર્ગને ત્યજતા નથી.
