Sukta 6.61
इयं शुष्मेभिर्बिसखा इवारुजत्सानु गिरीणां तविषेभिरूर्मिभिः । पारावतघ्नीमवसे सुवृक्तिभिः सरस्वतीमा विवासेम धीतिभिः ॥
iyaṃ śuṣmebhir bisakhāḥ-ivārujat sānu girīṇāṃ taviṣebhir ūrmi-bhiḥ | pārāvata-ghnīm avase suvṛkti-bhiḥ sarasvatīm ā vivāsema dhīti-bhiḥ ||
આ (સરಸ್ವતી) પોતાના શૌર્ય-બળોથી કમળની નાળ જેમ કોઈ ઉખેડી નાખે તેમ ફાડી નીકળી; પોતાના પ્રચંડ ઊર્મિ-તરંગોથી પર્વતોની કાંઠાઓને ભેદી નાખ્યાં. દૂર રહેલી (અંધકારરૂપ) વિમુખતા-નાશિની, અમારા અવસ (સહાય) માટે—સુવૃક્તિ (શુભ સ્તુતિ) અને ધીતી (પ્રેરિત વિચાર) વડે અમે સરસ્વતીને અહીં આહ્વાન કરીએ, તેને નજીક લાવી નિવાસ કરાવીએ.
