Sukta 6.37
इन्द्रो वाजस्य स्थविरस्य दातेन्द्रो गीर्भिर्वर्धतां वृद्धमहाः । इन्द्रो वृत्रं हनिष्ठो अस्तु सत्वा ता सूरिः पृणति तूतुजानः ॥
índro vā́jasya sthávirasya dāténdro gīrbhír vardhatāṃ vṛ́ddhamahāḥ | índro vṛtráṃ hániṣṭho astu sátvā́ ā́ tā́ sūríḥ pṛṇati tū́tujānaḥ ||
ઇન્દ્ર સ્થિર અને દીર્ઘસ્થાયી વાજ—બળ-સમૃદ્ધિનો દાતા છે; મહાવૃદ્ધિ ધરાવતો ઇન્દ્ર અમારી ગીર્ભિઃ—પ્રેરિત સ્તુતિઓથી વધે. ઇન્દ્ર વૃત્રહન—આવરણકર્તાનો સર્વશક્તિમાન સંહારક બને; ત્યારે સૂરી—પ્રકાશિત નેતા, તૂતુજાન—ઉત્સાહથી પ્રેરિત, એ સમૃદ્ધિથી અમને પરિપૂર્ણ કરે.
