Sukta 6.25
अध स्मा ते चर्षणयो यदेजानिन्द्र त्रातोत भवा वरूता । अस्माकासो ये नृतमासो अर्य इन्द्र सूरयो दधिरे पुरो नः ॥
ádha smā te carṣaṇáyo yád ejā́n índra trā́tota bhava varūtā́ | asmā́kāso yé nṛ́tamāso aryá índra sū́rayo dadhiré púro naḥ ||
ત્યારે ખરેખર, હે ઇન્દ્ર, જ્યારે તારા ચર્ષણયઃ (પ્રજા/જન) ગતિમાં હોય—તું અમારો ત્રાતા અને વરૂતા (આવરણરૂપ રક્ષક) બન. કારણ કે અમારા જે નૃતમ (અતિ-પુરુષાર્થવાન), આર્ય છે—હે ઇન્દ્ર—તે સૂરયઃ (ઋષિ-વીર)ોએ તને અમારા આગળ પુરઃ (અગ્રસ્થ) સ્થાપ્યો છે, અમારા દુર્ગ સમાન.
