एवेन्द्राग्निभ्यामहावि हव्यं शूष्यं घृतं न पूतमद्रिभिः । ता सूरिषु श्रवो बृहद्रयिं गृणत्सु दिधृतमिषं गृणत्सु दिधृतम् ॥

Transliteration

evéndrāgní-bhyām áhāvi havyaṃ śū́ṣyaṃ ghṛtáṃ na pūtám ádri-bhiḥ | tā sūríṣu śrávo bṛhád rayíṃ gṛṇát-su didhṛtám íṣaṃ gṛṇát-su didhṛtám ||

Translation

આ રીતે ઇન્દ્ર-અગ્નિ માટે હવ્ય અર્પિત થયું છે—શૂષ્યં (પાકતું બળ) સમાન, અદ્રિભિઃ (પિષણ-પથ્થરો)થી શુદ્ધ થયેલ ઘૃત સમું. તે બે દેવો સૂરીષુ (પ્રકાશિત નેતાઓ)માં વિશાળ શ્રવઃ (યશ) અને રયિ (સમૃદ્ધિ) સ્થાપે; ગૃણત્સુ (સ્તુતિ કરનારાઓ)માં ઇષ (પોષક પ્રેરણા)ને ધારણ કરે—ગૃણત્સુમાં તેને ધારણ કરે.
