Sukta 5.1
प्र सद्यो अग्ने अत्येष्यन्यानाविर्यस्मै चारुतमो बभूथ । ईळेन्यो वपुष्यो विभावा प्रियो विशामतिथिर्मानुषीणाम् ॥
prá sadyo agne átyeṣy anyā́n āvír yásmai cā́ru-tamo babhū́tha | īḷényo vapuṣyò vibhā́vā priyó viśā́m átithir mā́nuṣīṇām ||
હે અગ્નિ, તું તરત જ આગળ વધે છે, અન્ય શક્તિઓને વટાવીને; જેના માટે તું સર્વથી વધુ મનોહર અને કૃપાળુ થયો છે, તેના માટે તું પ્રગટ થાય છે. સ્તુત્ય, રૂપે પરિપૂર્ણ, સર્વત્ર પ્રકાશમાન—તું માનવ કુળોનો પ્રિય અતિથિ છે; અંતઃગૃહમાં પ્રવેશી આત્માર્પણના યજ્ઞને જાગૃત કર.
