विद्मा हि त्वा धनंजयं वाजेषु दधृषं कवे । अधा ते सुम्नमीमहे ॥
Transliteration
vidmā́ hí tvā dhanam-jayáṁ vā́jeṣu dadhṛṣáṁ kave | ádhā te sumnám īmahe ||
Translation
હે કવિ-શક્તિ ઇન્દ્ર, અમે તને ધનનો વિજયી જાણીએ છીએ; બળની સમૃદ્ધિઓમાં તું ધીર અને નિર્ભય છે. તેથી અમે તારી સુમ્ન—કૃપા, તારી શુભ વિશાળતા—ની યાચના કરીએ છીએ, જે અમારી વૃદ્ધિને સ્થાપે.
