Sukta 3.31
मिहः पावकाः प्रतता अभूवन्त्स्वस्ति नः पिपृहि पारमासाम् । इन्द्र त्वं रथिरः पाहि नो रिषो मक्षूमक्षू कृणुहि गोजितो नः ॥
míhaḥ pāvakā́ḥ prátatā abhūvan svastí naḥ pipṛhi pā́ram āsā́m | índra tvaṃ rathiráḥ pāhi no riṣó mákṣūmakṣū kṛṇuhi gojító naḥ ||
પાવક એવા વરસાદો વ્યાપી ગયા છે; આ પ્રવાહોના પારના કિનારે અમને સ્વસ્તિપૂર્વક પહોંચાડ. હે ઇન્દ્ર, રથબળે દૃઢ, અમને હાનિથી રક્ષા કર; ક્ષણમાં, વારંવાર, અમને ગોજિત—પ્રકાશકિરણોના વિજેતા—બનાવ.
