Sukta 2.16
प्र ते नावं न समने वचस्युवं ब्रह्मणा यामि सवनेषु दाधृषिः । कुविन्नो अस्य वचसो निबोधिषदिन्द्रमुत्सं न वसुनः सिचामहे ॥
prá te nā́vaṃ ná sámane vacasyúvaṃ bráhmaṇā yā́mi sávaneṣu dā́dhṛṣiḥ | kuvín no asyá vácaso nibódhiṣad índram utsáṃ ná vásunaḥ sicāmahe ||
હે ધીર (સ્થિર) ઇન્દ્ર! જેમ પાર ઉતરવા માટે નાવ, તેમ ઉચ્ચાર ઇચ્છતું વચન લઈને, બ્રહ્મ (મંત્ર) સાથે, સોમ-સવનોમાં હું તારી પાસે આવું છું. કદાચ તે અમારી આ વાણીનું ધ્યાન ધરે; ધનના ઝરણા સમા ઇન્દ્રને અમે વહાવી (અર્પી) શકીએ.
