Sukta 2.13
शतं वा यस्य दश साकमाद्य एकस्य श्रुष्टौ यद्ध चोदमाविथ । अरज्जौ दस्यून्त्समुनब्दभीतये सुप्राव्यो अभवः सास्युक्थ्यः ॥
śatáṃ vā yásya dáśa sākám ā́dya ékasya śruṣṭáu yád dha códám ā́vitha | arájjau dasyū́nt sám unabd dabhī́taye suprā́vyo abhavaḥ sá āsy ukthyáḥ ||
સો હોય કે સો, કે દસ સાથે—એકના આહ્વાન પર, પ્રેરણાથી તું આવી પહોંચ્યો. યુદ્ધપંક્તિમાં તું દસ્યુઓને એકસાથે બાંધી દીધા, તેમની ગભરાહટ અને પરાજય માટે; તું સુપ્રાવ્ય—સર્વોત્તમ રક્ષક—બન્યો; એ જ તો સ્તુતિનો સાચો વિષય છે, ઉકથ્ય છે.
