Sukta 10.95
यदासु मर्तो अमृतासु निस्पृक्सं क्षोणीभिः क्रतुभिर्न पृङ्क्ते । ता आतयो न तन्वः शुम्भत स्वा अश्वासो न क्रीळयो दन्दशानाः ॥
yád āsu márto amṛ́tāsu ni-spṛ́k sám kṣoṇī́bhir kratúbhir ná pṛ́ṅkte | tā́ ātáyo ná tanvàḥ śúmbhata svā́ aśvā́so ná krīḷáyo dándaśānāḥ ||
જ્યારે અસ્પર્શિત મર્ત્ય ભૂમિપ્રતિષ્ઠિત શક્તિઓ અને વિવેકસભર સંકલ્પો (ક્રતુ) દ્વારા અમૃતાઓ સાથે મિશ્રિત થતો નથી, ત્યારે તે પ્રેરણાઓ તેની દેહધારી તનુને શોભાવતી નથી—રમતાં અશ્વો જેમ દાંત મારતાં, અશાંત રહે, તેમ તે પોતાની જ રહીને પણ અસંયોજિત રહે છે.
