Sukta 10.84
सहस्व मन्यो अभिमातिमस्मे रुजन्मृणन्प्रमृणन्प्रेहि शत्रून् । उग्रं ते पाजो नन्वा रुरुध्रे वशी वशं नयस एकज त्वम् ॥
sáhasva manyo abhimā́tim asmē rújan mṛṇán pramṛṇán préhi śatrū́n | ugráṃ te pā́jo nanv ā́ rurudhre vaśī́ váśaṃ nayase ekajá tvám ||
હે મન્યુ, અમારાં ઉપર આવતી શત્રુતાભરી ચઢાઈ પર વિજય મેળ—તોડી, કચડી, સંપૂર્ણ કચડીને, શત્રુઓ સામે આગળ વધ. તારો ઉગ્ર તેજ હવે રોકાયેલો નથી; વશી બની તું સર્વને પોતાના વશમાં લઈ જાય છે—એકમાંથી જન્મેલો તું.
