Sukta 10.8
प्र केतुना बृहता यात्यग्निरा रोदसी वृषभो रोरवीति । दिवश्चिदन्ताँ उपमाँ उदानळपामुपस्थे महिषो ववर्ध ॥
prá ketúnā bṛhatā́ yāty agnír ā́ rodasī́ vṛṣabhó roravīti | diváś cid ántāṃ upamā́ṃ úd ānaḷ apā́m upásthe mahiṣó vavardha ||
વિશાળ પ્રકાશ-ધ્વજ (કેતુ) લઈને અગ્નિ આગળ વધે છે; વૃષભ સમો બે લોક—દ્યો અને પૃથ્વી—પ્રતિ ગર્જના કરે છે. તે સ્વર્ગના અંતો સુધી પણ પહોંચ્યો છે, માપોને વટાવી ઊર્ધ્વ ઉઠે છે; આપોના ઉપસ્થમાં મહિષ—મહાબળવાન—વધ્યો છે.
