Sukta 10.79
गुहा शिरो निहितमृधगक्षी असिन्वन्नत्ति जिह्वया वनानि । अत्राण्यस्मै पड्भिः सं भरन्त्युत्तानहस्ता नमसाधि विक्षु ॥
guhā́ śíro níhitaṁ ṛ́dhag akṣī́ ásinvan atti jihváyā vánāni | átrāṇy asmai paṭ-bhíḥ sáṁ bharanty uttānā́-hastā námasā́ ádhi vikṣú ||
ગુહામાં શિર સ્થાપિત છે, અને બે આંખો અલગ-અલગ સ્થિત છે. બહાર દબાવ્યા વિના પણ તે પોતાની જિહ્વાથી વનોને ભક્ષે છે. તેના માટે પ્રજાઓ પગલાં વડે અર્પણો એકત્ર કરે છે; અને ઊંચા હાથ કરીને નમસ્કાર સાથે કુળોમાં તેને સ્થાપે છે.
