अप ज्योतिषा तमो अन्तरिक्षादुद्नः शीपालमिव वात आजत् । बृहस्पतिरनुमृश्या वलस्याभ्रमिव वात आ चक्र आ गाः ॥
ápa jyótiṣā támo antárikṣād udnáḥ śīpā́lam iva vā́ta ā́jat | bṛ́haspátir anumṛ́śyā valásyā́bhram iva vā́ta ā́ cakra ā́ gā́ḥ ||
જ્યોતિ વડે તેણે અંતરિક્ષમાંથી તમસને દૂર હાંકી કાઢ્યું—જેમ પવન પાણીની થેલી (શીપાલ)ને ઉડાડી દે. બૃહસ્પતિએ વલની ગુહાને અનુમૃશ્ય (સ્પર્શી-શોધી) જાણીને, પવન જેમ મેઘને ઘડે તેમ, ગાયોનું આગમન રચ્યું; તેણે કિરણોને આગળ પ્રગટ કર્યા.
