आ रोदसी अपृणादोत मध्यं पञ्च देवाँ ऋतुशः सप्तसप्त । चतुस्त्रिंशता पुरुधा वि चष्टे सरूपेण ज्योतिषा विव्रतेन ॥

ā́ rodasī́ apṛṇād ótá mádhyaṃ páñca devā́ṃ ṛtu-śáḥ saptá-sapta | cátuḥ-triṃśatā purudhā́ ví caṣṭe sarū́peṇa jyótiṣā vívratena ||

તેણે દ્યાવા-પૃથિવી બંનેને અને મધ્યલોકને પણ પરિપૂર્ણ કર્યા; ઋતુ અનુસાર પાંચ દેવોને (સ્થાપ્યા), સાત-સાતને. બત્રીસ દ્વારા તે અનેક રીતે નિહાળે છે—એકરૂપ તેજથી, છતાં વિસ્તૃત ઋત (વ્યાપક નિયમ) સાથે.
