Sukta 10.18
धनुर्हस्तादाददानो मृतस्यास्मे क्षत्राय वर्चसे बलाय । अत्रैव त्वमिह वयं सुवीरा विश्वाः स्पृधो अभिमातीर्जयेम ॥
dhánur hástād ā́dadāno mṛtásyā́smé kṣatrā́ya várcase bálāya | atráivá tvám ihá vayáṃ suvī́rā víśvāḥ spṛ́dho abhímātīr jayema ||
મૃતના હાથમાંથી ધનુષ્ય લઈ—અમારા ક્ષત્રત્વ માટે, તેજ માટે, બળ માટે—તું અહીં જ રહે. અહીં જ અમે, સુવીર (વીર પુત્રો/વીર આત્માઓ)થી સમૃદ્ધ, સર્વ સ્પર્ધાઓ અને સર્વ અભિમાતિઓ (આક્રમક વૈર-શક્તિઓ)ને જીતીએ.
