अव सृज पुनरग्ने पितृभ्यो यस्त आहुतश्चरति स्वधाभिः । आयुर्वसान उप वेतु शेषः सं गच्छतां तन्वा जातवेदः ॥
Transliteration
áva sṛja púnaḥ agne pitṛ́bhyo yás ta ā́hutaś cárati svadhā́bhiḥ | ā́yur vásāna úpa vetu śéṣaḥ sáṃ gacchatāṃ tanvā́ jā́tavedas ||
Translation
હે અગ્નિ, એને ફરી છોડ—પિતૃઓ તરફ નીચે અને આગળ—એને, જે તને આહુતિરૂપે અર્પિત થયો, સ્વધાના બળોમાં વિચરે છે. બાકી રહેલો આયુ-પ્રાણ ફરી વસ્ત્ર ધારણ કરી નજીક આવે; હે જાતવેદસ, દેહ-તનુ સમરસ થઈ એકત્ર થાય.
