याति देवः प्रवता यात्युद्वता याति शुभ्राभ्यां यजतो हरिभ्याम् । आ देवो याति सविता परावतोऽप विश्वा दुरिता बाधमानः ॥
Transliteration
yā́ti deváḥ právatā yā́ty udvátā yā́ti śubhrā́bhyāṁ yajató háribhyām | ā́ devó yā́ti savitā́ parāváto'pa víśvā duritā́ bā́dhamānaḥ ||
Translation
દેવ ઢાળવાળા માર્ગે જાય છે, ઊંચા ચઢાણવાળા માર્ગે પણ જાય છે; યજ્ઞયોગ્ય દેવ તેજસ્વી, હરિત-વર્ણના બે અશ્વો સાથે ગતિ કરે છે. પરાવત (દૂર પર)થી સવિતા દેવ આવે છે, સર્વ દુરીત (દુઃખ, દોષ, વક્રતા)ને દૂર હાંકી કાઢતો.
