हनुमता सीतासंवादोपायचिन्ता
Hanuman’s Deliberation on How to Address Sita
अन्तरं त्वहमासाद्य राक्षसीनामिह स्थितः।शनैराश्वासयिष्यामि सन्तापबहुळामिमाम्।।।।
antaraṃ tv aham āsādya rākṣasīnām iha sthitaḥ | śanair āśvāsayiṣyāmi santāpabahalām imām ||
અહીં જ રહી, આ રાક્ષસીઓ વચ્ચે યોગ્ય અવસર મેળવી, હું શોકથી અત્યંત સંતપ્ત આ સ્ત્રીને ધીમે ધીમે આશ્વાસન આપીશ.
"I am indeed of small size and that too a monkey. Nevertheless I shall speak in Sanskrit, a language of the common people. (as the she-demons cannot understand that language).
