समुद्रलङ्घनारम्भः
Commencement of the Ocean-Crossing
लघुत्वेनोपपन्नं तद्विचित्रं सागरेऽपतत्।द्रुमाणां विविधं पुष्पं कपिवायुसमीरितम्।।।।ताराचितमिवाकाशं प्रबभौ स महार्णवः।
laghutvenopapannaṃ tad vicitraṃ sāgare 'patat |
drumāṇāṃ vividhaṃ puṣpaṃ kapivāyusamīritam ||
tārācitam ivākāśaṃ prababhau sa mahārṇavaḥ ||
લઘુ અને અનેક રંગોવાળાં વૃક્ષોના વિવિધ પુષ્પો—કપિના વેગથી ઊઠેલા પવનથી પ્રેરિત થઈ—સમુદ્ર પર પડ્યા. અને તે મહાસાગર તારાઓથી ભરેલા આકાશ જેવો ઝગમગ્યો.
