पञ्चाशतं सुतान् लेभे जया नाम परान् पुरा।वधायासुरसैन्यानाममेयान् कामरूपिण:।।।।

pañcāśataṃ sutān lebhe jayā nāma parān purā | vadhāyāsura-sainyānām ameyān kāma-rūpiṇaḥ ||

પૂર્વકાળે જયા નામે પચાસ ઉત્તમ પુત્રોને પ્રાપ્ત કર્યા—અપરિમેય શક્તિવાળા અને ઇચ્છાનુસાર રૂપ ધારણ કરનાર—અસુરસેનાઓના વિનાશ માટે નિમિત્ત હતા.
