Commencement and Performance of Daśaratha’s Aśvamedha
नाषडङ्गविदत्रासीन्नाव्रतो नाबहुश्रुत:।सदस्यास्तस्य वै राज्ञो नावादकुशला द्विजा:।।।।
nāṣaḍaṅgavid atrāsīn nāvrato nābahuśrutaḥ |
sadasyās tasya vai rājño nāvādakuśalā dvijāḥ ||
રાજાના તે યજ્ઞમંડપમાં એવો કોઈ ઋત્વિજ-સહાયક ન હતો કે જે ષડઙ્ગોમાં અજ્ઞાત હોય, વ્રતભંગી હોય, અલ્પશ્રુત હોય, અથવા શાસ્ત્રાર્થ-વાદમાં અકુશળ હોય; રાજાના સભાસદ દ્વિજગણ સર્વે નિપુણ હતા.
