"Great king, I shall tell you the way Sanatkumara, great among the celestials further narrated the story. Listen to my words which may prove useful to you (said Sumantra)".
Dharma of counsel and attentive listening: wisdom is transmitted through respectful narration, and the king’s duty includes hearing beneficial guidance.
Sumantra resumes the embedded story, preparing to recount what Sanatkumāra said.
Sumantra’s concern for the king’s welfare—speaking ‘hita’ (beneficial) words with a teacherly responsibility.
