रामक्रोधवर्णनम्
Lakshmana’s Counsel to the Enraged Rama
खुरनेमिक्षतश्चायं सिक्तो रुधिरबिन्धुभिः।।।।देशो निर्वृत्तसङ्ग्रामस्सुघोरः पार्थिवात्मज।
khuranēmikṣataś cāyaṃ sikto rudhirabindubhiḥ |
deśo nirvṛttasaṅgrāmaḥ sughoraḥ pārthivātmaja ||
હે રાજકુમાર, આ ભૂમિ ખુરા અને રથચક્રની ધારોના ઘા થી ક્ષતવિક્ષત છે અને રક્તબિંદુઓથી સિંચાઈ ગઈ છે; અહીં અતિ ભયંકર યુદ્ધ થયું છે.
To destroy the world for the mistake of a single person is not proper. Why and by whom is this war-chariot broken with weapons and all its accesories I do not know.
