सीताहरणोत्तरं लङ्काप्रवेशः

Sita’s Abduction and Ravana’s Entry into Lanka

ततस्तु सीतामुपलभ्य रावणः सुसम्प्रहृष्टः परिगृह्य मैथिलीम्।प्रसज्य रामेण च वैरमुत्तमं बभूव मोहान्मुदितस्सराक्षसः।।।।

tatas tu sītām upalabhya rāvaṇaḥ susamprahṛṣṭaḥ parigṛhya maithilīm |

prasajya rāmeṇa ca vairam uttamaṃ babhūva mohān muditaḥ sa rākṣasaḥ ||

પછી સીતા દેવીને પ્રાપ્ત કરી, માથિલીને પોતાના વશમાં લઈ રાવણ અતિ આનંદિત થયો; પરંતુ મોહગ્રસ્ત એ રાક્ષસ રામચંદ્ર સાથે પરમ વૈર ઊભું કરનાર બન્યો.
