जटायुरावणयुद्धम्

Jatayu’s Combat with Ravana

बद्धस्त्वं कालपाशेन क्व गतस्तस्य मोक्ष्यसे।।।।वधाय बडिशं गृह्य सामिषं जलजो यथा।

baddhas tvaṃ kāla-pāśena kva gatas tasya mokṣyase | vadhāya baḍiśaṃ gṛhya sāmiṣaṃ jalajo yathā ||

તું કાળના પાશથી બંધાયેલો છે; ક્યાં જઈને તેમાંથી મુક્ત થશો? જેમ જલચર માછલી વધ માટે ચારો લાગેલું કાંટું પકડી લે છે, તેમ તું પોતાના અંતનું કારણ પકડી લીધું છે.
