उत्पातदर्शनं खरसैन्यसमागमश्च
Omens of calamity and the approach of Khara’s army
उद्यतानां हि युद्धार्थं येषां भवति लक्ष्मण।निष्प्रभं वदनं तेषां भवत्यायुः परिक्षयः।।।।
udyatānāṃ hi yuddhārthaṃ yeṣāṃ bhavati lakṣmaṇa |
niṣprabhaṃ vadanaṃ teṣāṃ bhavaty āyuḥ parikṣayaḥ ||
હે લક્ષ્મણ! યુદ્ધાર્થે ઊભા થયેલા પુરુષોમાં જેમના મુખનું તેજ ઓસરિ જાય છે, તેમનું આયુષ્ય ક્ષીણ થવા લાગે છે—મૃત્યુ તેમની નજીક આવી જાય છે.
