Omens before Khara’s Assault
तस्मिन्याते बले घोरमशिवं शोणितोदकम्।अभ्यवर्षन्महामेघस्तुमुलो गर्दभारुणः।।।।
tasmin yāte bale ghoraṃ aśivaṃ śoṇitodakam |
abhyavarṣan mahāmeghas tumulo gardabhāruṇaḥ || 3.23.1 ||
જ્યારે તે ભયંકર સૈન્ય આગળ વધ્યું, ત્યારે ગર્દભવર્ણ મહામેઘ ગર્જના સાથે ફાટી પડ્યો અને લોહી સમા લાલ જળવર્ષા—અશિવ, ઘોર—વરસાવી.
