प्रीतस्तस्य भवेद्रुद्रो मार्कंडेयो महामुनिः । वंध्या च लभते पुत्रान्दुर्भगा सुभगाभवेत्

prītastasya bhavedrudro mārkaṃḍeyo mahāmuniḥ | vaṃdhyā ca labhate putrāndurbhagā subhagābhavet

તેના પર રુદ્ર પ્રસન્ન થાય છે અને મહામુનિ માર્કંડેય પણ અનુકૂળ થાય છે. વંધ્યા સ્ત્રી પુત્રો પામે છે અને દુર્ભાગ્યા સుభાગ્યા બને છે.
